A few weeks ago, in the newsletter, I announced we'd BRB with the blog posts...
I listened to Gary Vaynerchuk talk about how he put his head down for the first four years of creating VaynerMedia and didn't put out any content between 2010-2014. I guess I started following him in 2014. The man of digital marketing stopped me, making me evaluate where we were and the compromises I'd have to make to move forward.
Slowing down on the blog wasn't an easy decision, as I love coming here and adding value to your life. However, one thing needed to give as we began to accelerate and feel the stretch of a growing business and company.
I am still loving up hard on the Monday Newsletter. Somehow focusing on the newsletter has made it even better. As one reader said yesterday in a personal email, "I feel like I am having a conversations with a best friend and she is sharing all her favorite advice and thoughts and ramblings on the same things I think about." You can sign up here.
Also, I started having conversations in Feb with an amazing woman Annie about the direction of our content, how we can really dive deep into shapeshifting our posts and content to talk about all areas of health that impact a mother's life. We also started talking about contributors, and dreaming big dreams of what we can build and create for the blog.
We want to focus on context, before content.
Right now, we're working on gathering contributing writers who bring generosity and wonder into life daily, and have a good sense of humor. If you'd like to submit a post, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We're excited to see what you have to say, and have to offer.
Most important, we love you Mother Lovers, and can't tell you enough how grateful we are for you riding with us as we grow. Your emails, your snaps, your comments, they mean the world to us - in all truth from the heart.
We so look forward to continuing to grow with you, and help you!
