Mother Love Stories: Jenny

Jenny and I met via IG. I started following her jewelry line (it’s rad) and somewhere a few months ago I noticed her hearting and commenting on pics. I’ve always had the idea of a jewelry collaboration for #themotherlove, so I reached out to Jen…and we’re talking. Today, she’s sharing her version of her #motherlovestories.

Hope you enjoy her as much as I do!

Reflections of my (almost) 9 months of #motherhood:

  1. I finally felt 100% myself at 6 months PP. Even with the help of placenta pills and moderate exercise/healthy fatty diet, I felt a little lost. I didn’t know it at the time, and only knew when I looked back.

  2. Don’t give up! I can’t believe I’m still nursing at 9 month. My breastfeeding journey was awful. I didn’t even have a real connection with breastfeeding till about 5-6 months after I gave birth! And yes, I still pump. Yes, I still mix formula with his diet. Every Mother can only do her best. Whatever your goal is with your baby, don’t give up!

  3. Enjoy the love. From you baby. From your baby daddy. From your family. I got caught up in work, keeping the household togehter, and making sure we were alive. LOL. It’s nice to take a day (or few) off to enjoy the moments that will soon be distant memories. A messy house can always wait :)
